Christmas Joy For Irish Clubbers

Ladies and Gentlemen, electronic music fans of the nation, it is time…after long months of planning and tribulation we can finally announce what the clubbers of Ireland have longed-for…an electronic music festival they can call their own.

United together for an awe-inspiring multi-arena extravaganza celebrating genres across the electronic music spectrum including electro, techno, trance, hard dance, and hardstyle, in association with some of the most cutting-edge, dynamic and current brands in the industry, we present…JOY MUSIC FESTIVAL!



JOY Music Festival takes place at Fusion Complex in Drogheda on Wednesday 28 December with some of the biggest artists on the global stage alongside the very best of Irish talent past, present and future.



Fusion will be transformed for this exhilarating event with the main arena hosted by Goodgreef and featuring Egyptian duo Aly & Fila, Indecent Kearnage, a very special guest to be announced next Friday and many others.



The harder-edged Audio Surgery arena is headlined by world-conquering Dutch brothers Showtek, hard dance king Alex Kidd, Audio Surgery head honchos

Organ Donors, and many more.



Another 40 artists and two arenas will be announced next week.



Utilizing the most modern technology in sound, lighting, visual effects and décor, JOY will deliver nine and a half hours of pure electronic music heaven, taking clubbing in Ireland to a brand new level.

Christmas Bonanza – JOY Festival Releases More Acts, Puts Earlybird Tickets On Sale & Is On Look Out For Irish Talent

ClubMix can today reveal yet more acts for Ireland’s biggest, groundbreaking, Christmas music extravaganza; JOY Festival, which takes place at Fusion Complex, Drogheda, on Wednesday 28 December!

Egyptian trance kings Aly & Fila and Dutch Hardstylers Showtek, who we named last week, are joined by a plethora of hi-flying DJs and producers who are currently setting the global electronic music world alight.

Trance fans can revel in the fact that as well as Aly & Fila the nine hour spectacular plays host to super-sexy trance goddess Claudia Cazacu, English front-runner Ben Gold, the Irish Debut of Indecent Kearnage aka Indecent Noise and Bryan Kearney, and an exclusive producer’s set from Ryeland.

Organ Donors join Showtek as they host the Audio Surgery hard dance arena with performances also coming from Kiddfectious head honcho Alex Kidd, the unrelenting Dark by Design, and the scene’s favourite hard-hitting prodigies; Argy and Kidd Kaos.

In total over 40 artists will perform at the four arena festival, with the remainder of the acts released next Friday.

Other attractions include fully licensed bars enclosed heated terraces with barbecues and oxygen bar, and more.

A limited number of early bird tickets are on sale today 11-11-11 @ 11.11am from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide for just one week or until they sell out (whichever comes first). Big risk putting that kind of money into an event but fair play to them if it works.

i thought it was gona be sumthin alot better been honest with all the hype

I think were getting too old hahaha if we were 18 and that event was on i guarantee you's we be there no matter who was on the line up, its a pitty but Hardstyle is what all the young lads are into these days like we were into the Bounce when we were that age TIDY/HOTWAX/12INCHTHUNPERS ect they were all the labels i was into anyways all bouncey music Hardstyle is the new bounce in my opinion and if we were 18 now i bet you's thats what we be listening to haha

I dont get why promotors ask djs to play something different either
to wat the known for playing......i know most djs can play different genres
but still at a big thing like that you'd wanna be playin wat ye like most
