This thread will be made sticky the idea behind this is for all producers who have tunes that they know they probably will never get around to finishing so if you want your track finished by someone else this is the place to be

1. Post up your unfinished track for people to have a listen
2. Give in small detail a little bit about the track and what you were trying to achieve
3. List what software/hardware you used
4. Create a back up of your project in what ever DAW you use and also make sure you create a sample folder with all sample's used in your track if you have midi files include them in the folder aswell

If you have any ideas that could be added to this please feel free to let me know

Wayne Doyle & Wizard - Tutorial Track 1 @ Effective Studio Ireland

Something to pass the time by a few months back before i started working again,i had wayne doyle show me a few basic things on F.L 9 by making a quick track between us with a solid kick & rumbling bassline similar to dave owens,with an oldskool riff & Vox. Few more bits to do when we decide to that is.

Now that im fin work again im thinking of getting setup with an Apple i Mac + Logic Pro 9 to get started. Once i have it all sitting there it will push me to learn more on the engineering side of things!

Hi Jay, Thanks for the inbox, Im just trying to get some stuff together to link for others to look at as my drive is mostly unfinished projects so would be awesome for others to have a look too. Did you manage to upload a couple of yours as Id be interested to have a go, Ive got an Ableton based system with a host of VSTi's to play with and Reason 5.

Yeah just sorting them out and which ones to use will get onto it this weekend i mainly use Cubase myself so ill make a sample pack of single hits and loops that way then you can make your own loops form the sames sounds ill post up a mixdown of what i have done in the pack as well then we'll see where it takes us

I have Cubase 5 and Reason 4. Would be interested in doing a remix for anyone that might be interested.

Im the process of uploading a tune with all the parts, ill will have it up tonight so you can all have ago at remixing it

Ok this is the 1st project that im going to share its one that i was working on with a mate the track is complete to the end but its just lacking another main lead or the vocal could be used more plus a bigger build up and maybe another small break you decide i have added all the audio files used in the track plus the midi file to create the bass n synths the cubase project file is also there and i have added the completed track in the folder

I'll have a bash at that as well Jay. Havnt made any HH tracks yet so will prob take me a while to get something done. A lot of college work to be doin in the run up to christmas as well. You know yourself.
