Meltdown Digital Recordings is a Hard House Music label that will be releasing some of the best and freshest sounds to hit the download stores in 2014. The style will consists of tough, bouncy but funky baselines, with a solid kick drum that any DJ would love to mix. It will also include roaring deep 303 like synth lines and some trance melodies in the breakdowns. Techno like percussion is a must to drive any track along.
Meltdown Digital Recordings is one of the first record labels to come out of the South East of Ireland. All of the tracks have/will be written, produced & engineered at Meltdown Studios in Wexford town. Meltdown started out as a club night back in 2004 showcasing some of Wexfords finest DJ’s. It soon grew in popularity and hosted parties on a regular basis. Some of the best DJ’s in the country have played at Meltdown Including Mark Kavanagh, Alan Pullen, Pierce Rooney, Karl Davis, James Devlin and Claire Browne along with some of the top DJ’s from the UK such as Andy Farley, Adam M and Ross Homson to name but a few.
The man behind this brand is Jay Hatchell, a native of Wexford Town. Meltdown had become the home for hard house in the South East, so much so that Jay went on to study Music Production and set up his own studio where he is now ready to launch Meltdown Digital Recordings.
This new label will be full of fresh and ready tunes to hit the dance floors in 2014. Each release will showcase the talent we have for Hard house in this country and will be solely supporting new and up
& coming artists from across the country and abroad. Meltdown will bring back the vibe and fun that Hard House Music had when it hit the big time filling nightclubs across the planet so watch out for the First release which will be available from all good download stores very soon!
